How much should I sell my 36" Tube Tv for?

I want to sell my tube tv on eBay but i want to know how much it could be worth for.
There is only one problem with it and that is the power button on the tv is jammed. Although, I do still have the remote to the tv so you could just turn it on from there. Other than that everything is great!
It is 36 inches wide and the color is grey/silver.

The problem with selling that set on eBay is that it weighs over a hundred pounds (probably close to 200), so the shipping cost would be huge, far more than you'd get for the set itself. You'd do better listing it on Craigslist, which might attract a local buyer.

If it's a Sony Trinitron and in like-new condition except for the power switch, I'd list it on Craigslist for $75 OBO, and take whatever I could get. If it's not a Trinitron, maybe $40 to $50 OBO.

There is very little application for analog TVs anymore, even the best of them. You can connect it to basic (no box) cable, or to an analog device like a VCR or certain game boxes, or to an antenna with a digital-to-analog converter.

If you itemize deductions on your income tax, you may get the most out of it by donating it Goodwill Industries or the Salvation Army. Your allowed deduction would probably exceed what you could sell it for.
