Tap Hip Hop
How many people here count dancing (like jazz, lyrical, ballet, tap, hip hop, modern...etc) as a sport?
Some people do and some dont. can u tell me what u think? as many people as possible answer plz
Dance is completely a sport! I've been dancing for twelve years(I'm 14 now). I've done ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, ballroom, hip hop, and more. A dancer uses every mussel (arms, legs, feet, head, neck, stomach, hands, etc.) in their body. You have to use not just a hand, eye, coordination, but a body movement, eye, coordination. Dance is one of the hardest sports around. If dance were easy it would be called soccer, basketball, football, or any other sport. (I'm not saying other sports aren't hard, I'm just trying to make a point. I know other sports are plenty hard. I have friends who play football, basketball, and soccer.) But I swear, if someone says that dance isn't a sport they better have a dang good reason.

A group of friends and I are doing our schools talent show. Only two of us know how to tap so we decided rather than teach the other two girls to tap why dont we do like a dance like a battle with between the two girls that know how to hip-hop and me and my other friend that know how to tap. I know it may sound strange, but if we can do it right i think it will be really cool! My friend and I do competitive tap, so it wont be boring by any means. Im just needing a good song to get started. Sooo nothing too slow or too "hip-hop-y" we need a song with a really good rhythm. My friend suggested we do it to a song called thunder with like all these violins and stuff but i think it sounds a little lame, besides i dont even no who the artist is. So if you could make some suggestions of songs with the artist and where to find the song at, that would be great!!!! THANKSS
-btw: Please dont suggest anything on youtube becuase i have slow internet and it will take long to load :/
well to look at videos besides youtube you should go to yahoo music videos they have mainly every song you want
