Square Silk Scarves: The Way To Tie Scarves

Square scarves have always been popular especially when they are made of silk. There are many ways to decorate yourself by using a square silk scarf and there are common ways to tie your scarves which are introduced.

In the event that you like to keep unruly hair steady with scarves, head scarves can keep your hair still and make you look good as well. The soft silk scarf is dancing with your hair in the wind and could create a romantic atmosphere. There are three common ways to tie your scarves as a head scarf.

You can start by creating a roughly triangular shape through folding the square silk scarf; then, with the long end directed towards your face, simply wrap up the scarf along with your hair from both the left and right sides, finishing it with a knot at your neck just beneath the rear hairline. Another way of folding a silk scarf as a shape of necktie and make a knot like the previous one. The variation is only that the scarf partly goes over the ears and not at the back of it. To add some exaggeration and the beauty of wild, couple an earring with this knot.

How do I make a poofy petticoat/ pettiskirt?

I am looking to make a petticoat/skirt that looks like this:

I have found that this is very similar to a square dancing petticoat which I have found adult sized patterns for. I am looking for a pattern I can follow, or instructions if anyone has any for sizes 12mo-6x. Thanks!

I have some experience sewing from photos. I've gone and looked at yourt picture. If I were making one of those, here's how I would go about it.

What that picture looks like is lots of gathers of fine tulle. It looks like they've made a 2-tier ruffle and then gathered it thickly. It may even be two layers. (If so, make a second set of the first and second tier, and then sew the one with the first and second tier and the shallow ruffle onto it.) It also has a shallow ruffle on the very edge, which makes it pouff out more. The top layer of the ruffle looks like it's about 1/3 the length of the girl's leg. It looks like it's about 4x or 5x the measurement of her waist. I'd make a waist piece out of wash-cotton (like bedsheet fabric) about 2x the child's waist measurement and 5" wide. Turn over about an inch and make a casing for elastic. Leave about 3" of fabric below the waist. That's where I'd sew the first tier on. The second tier looks like it's just a little longer, or maybe about half the length on the leg. It looks like it's about 3x the measurement of the top layer. You can sew it directly onto the first tier. Now do a strip about 2" wide and three times the length of the second tier. This is the final little shallow ruffle. You can line this with a layer of the washcotton, if that would make it more comfy for the little ones.
