what shall i do.. im too shy?

yesterday was my first bellydance lesson, i take the lessons at home, the problem is that the teacher wants me to wear a long skirt and a bra each time we have a lesson, but im too shy, i have some belly fat and i think my boobs are big(36 b), and i hate wearing a skirt , what shall i do???

I think you will get over it and you will relax when you get used to it. Perhaps you could go shopping for a skirt you like better and wear a sports bra...

If you don't agree that you will get used to it, why are you taking belly dance lessons? Belly dancers usually wear skirts and bare their bellies...

What do you think of a thirteen-year-old bellydancing?

I'm trying to learn how to bellydance. Do you think I'm too young? I really do NOT want to show off my body and will probably bellydance with a full length skirt or pants and a tight tank top or t shirt or something like that. What are your opinions?
I am NOT going to go doing it for a guy unless we're either married/getting really serious, and hopefully that won't be until I'm either in college or a college graduate.

I'm doing just for excersize, fun, and as a hobby, as I don't want to just sit around all summer.

If you are doing it for non-slutty reason and just to improve you dancing and to get exercise, then go ahead and do it! There's no better time like the present.. and it's actually a great skill to be able to do that.. as long as u don't like do it at unnecessary/wrong times and only during like shows/dances/practice and stuff like that
