Silver or polished finish on an intake?

I'm buying an intake system for my 00 Chevy S10 4.3 and I'm wondering which looks or lasts longer, a silver or polished finish on the intake. Of course I understand it's probably all personal choice, so if they last just the same, let me know which you prefer over the other and why. And FYI I think I'm going with an AEM brute force intake. Unless anyone has any reason I should go with another for better reasons. Thanks everyone! Sorry if this has been asked before.

The silver will last longer, because it is more than likely powder coated. The polished finnish will look better at first, but it will fade and look bad faster than the silver.
