Fashionable School Shoes for Small Feet

Most stores cater to average shoe sizes.  It can be frustrating trying to find shoes for small feet or big feet because your local shoe shop or department store may not have the right sizes in the styles of shoe you love.  This can be especially be a problem for older school girls who have transitioned out of child sizes and styles but still wears a very small woman shoe size.  Finding the styles at this impressionable time of life without making your daughter feel self-conscious can be quite a task.  Children's' shoes with sparkly pink bows and ponies are not the answer for an emerging lady.

 

Traditional stores may not have the right answer.  Because the shoe sizes in the United Kingdom have been increasing across the board, stores are stocking more and more large sizes and less small sizes.  For instance, the last ten years, the average women's shoe size in the United Kingdom has changed from a five to a six.  In the last five years, sales of size 8 shoes have increased over twenty percent.  The presence of these larger sizes is fantastic for those ladies who used to have trouble finding larger sizes, but the absence of shoes for small feet is creating a problem for that segment of the population.

 

The internet offers solutions.  There are specialty websites that cater to girls and women who need shoes for small feet.  They offer all styles, including those suitable for school attendance.  Ballerinas, casual lace up shoes, ankle boots, ballerinas with straps, and pumps are all available on these special small shoe sites.  They have them in classic, basic black, or in a variety of colours and styles.  Fashion is full of a high level of detailing right now and many of these shoes reflect that trend.  Bows, pleating, zippers, studding, sparkles, and more are all used in modern shoes.

 

If your daughter is self-conscious about the size of her feet in classes where the other students have smaller, children sized feet, there are tips you can follow to help minimize shoe size.  If she is older and all the other girls have larger feet, certain shoes can elongate the appearance of the foot.  Embellishments normally make feet appear smaller. Round toe designs, wedges, and dark colours also have this effect.  For shoes for small feet that make the foot look long and slender, choose pointy toes and brighter colours.

Shoes keep grazing ankle area. Any products to stop this?

I have always worn boots, and recently invested in a pair of pumps and courts. The trouble is the back rim of the shoes, rub the back bone of my ankle, leaving them grazed. I have worn tights, and it still does this. How can i stop this from happening?

are there any products to prevent this?

a clear bandaid works pretty good.
Also if you ease into the shoes a little when you have the time your skin will get used to it, just don't throw them on for an 8 hour work or school day and expect your ankles to take it. They need to work up to that.
It also could be that the shoes don't fit right?
