The Christmas scarf also offers some protection from cold weather. Sales assistant Delna Matthias explains, "Generally, party dresses are thin and sheer. Few great looking dresses come with coats or capes. But a girl has to keep herself warm, right? Voila, there's the scarf to do that job!" It might not be much but some protection is better than no protection at all.

A Christmas scarf may be worn with formal or semi-formal attire. If you are attending a fun event, you can afford to go in glorious colors. However, if you are attending a semi-formal event, it might be better to stick with muted tones. Materials like silk, wool, mink and fur are available. You can choose the material of the Christmas scarf so that it complements your outfit nicely.
