Here are some of the Services Global Discovery (Evidence Discovery) Offers:

Network Harvesting
Global Discovery offers a proprietary application that enables us to collect data from a client’s network servers and PCs during normal business hours. While connected, the application identifies and captures active files based upon criteria established by counsel (such as custodian, file type, and date range). This is accomplished while all file metadata is prepared and maintained. VeHARVEST provides counsel and corporations with a cost effective, forensically accurate alternative for responding to discovery requests outside of the restoration of back-up tapes and/or imaging of entire server hard drives. VeHARVEST is also frequently used for data sampling.

Network Enterprise Mapping
A Network Enterprise Map, commonly referred to as a “data map”, is the visual diagram of how a corporation creates, accumulates and circulates electronically stored information (“ESI”) throughout the organization. The map provides the corporation with a comprehensive guide to the organization’s systems and processes that business units commonly use.

The map enables your business clients to identify the ESI that is “accessible v. non-accessible” in order to respond to electronic discovery requests, regulatory investigations and/or compliance issues. The map will also determine the organization’s software and hardware life cycles as well as ascertain legacy systems. The map will be the foundation by which your business can create a legally defensible litigation response program.

Corporate Litigation Hold
VeHOLD, our Corporate Litigation Hold application is an enterprise wide data preservation system designed to assist in implementing a hold on ESI in anticipation of future litigation or in early stage litigation. This automated application allows clients to forensically segregate and quarantine electronic data located on shared data servers and corporate e-mail servers. Segregated data may be exported for review or maintained for future review if required.

The automated process quarantines files using criteria created by counsel. Full Boolean text search and metadata searching available with VeHOLD allowing for very specific data collection.

Web-enabled Review Platform
VeREVIEW 3.0 is our proprietary native file review platform referred to above. This web-enabled application acts as a case management portal and review tool to allow for the expedited review of collected ESI for production in response to discovery requests associated with litigation and/or investigation. Additional features include unlimited seat licenses, foreign language support, HTML view for speedy review, usage report generation and others.

Complete Forensic Collection and Processing
Unlike many electronic discovery service providers the forensic division of GLD is a full service forensic collection and processing center. The Forensic Center performs collections involving a single computer to data culling projects of over 20 terabyte. This allows Global Discovery to be a single source for the entire forensic process, perfecting chain of custody and insuring the highest quality.
