If you add or take away from the word of God does that change the meaning of God's word?

This is from Rev 22:18 [NWT] If any one makes an addition to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this scroll. Pro 30:6 [NWT] add nothing to His words, that He may not approve you and that you may not have to be prove a liar Dt 4:2[NWT] You must not add to the word that I am commanding you, neither must you take away from it.
Being the JW adds and takes away does that make them to have a false doctrine. Ref: Jn 1:1 a god. added "a" small g Rev 1:11 omit I AM, Alpha and Omega. This is one of many changes they have made to thier NWT

What you are asking is very obscure I'm afraid. I think the important thing to remember is that the Bible has been translated and retranslated from the translation many times and not necessarily very correctly and meanings and usage of words change over the centuries so one might say that "white noise" has been introduced.

I don't think it matters, as you will make your own interpretation of what the scriptures mean for you personally. Just read the scriptures with which you feel most comfortable (and uplifted! - the real God is not an ogre..)
