Lyrical Ballet Pageant

What styles of dance should my daughters do at their pageants for the talent portion?

This is what types of dance they know:

8 yr old - ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, acro
10 yr old - ballet, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, musical theatre, acro
12 yr old - basically all types! ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop, acro, and more!

They are all very good dancers! (I need individual styles for each)

8: acro for sure! i think the judges would be impressed with alot of flexibility at a younger age
10:musical theatre would be a good choice if she is really aimated on stage or acro
12:pointe would be beautiful and impressive or morden if shes good at showing emotions

Beauty Pageant Outfit/Hair/Makeup?

hi, i'm 13 & I'm going to be competing in the national american miss pageant, i really haven't decided on any of my looks yet, so I was wondering if you have any tips for my hair/makup/outfit for ANY or ALL (that would deffinitely rock) of these sections:
-FORMAL
-INTERVIEW
-TALENT (i'm dancing, mainly ballet with a bit of lyrical)

5'3, 90lbs,
brown hair,
blue-grey eyes,
fair skin,
heart shaped face.

Omg I'm so excited for you. I competed in that pageant one year ago. I didnt win but I got fourth place. Not bad for my 1st official pageant. For your talent that sound good but what you should wear is something sparkly so you can grab their attention. And for the interview always smile and never say ughhhhh.......or mmmmmmmmm. For the formal its best if you keep ur hair off ur face so they wont forget who u are. Dont wear tons of makeup. YOu will lose points. Good Luck! Have fun. Ohh yeah dont get jealous at other girls there who are competing for the same crown as u!
