And in pro wrestling, why do most of them wear tights?

I'm not trying to make fun of them (and please no "because its gay" comments), but I really am wondering why do they wear tights? Informative answers only.

1st and foremost - To keep their junk in place. Yes, they could achieve this other ways. The 2nd reason is to be distinct from the other wrestlers (with logos and such on them).
