Great Pole Dancing Shoes For That Stunning Look

Pole dancing is a type of sport that combines dancing and aerobics. It includes sensual dancing using a vertical pole and was initially performed in strip clubs. Unlike other sports, you can not wear protective clothing with pole dancing as this may limit the much needed flexibility. You should not however be worries because with time, you will learn the dancing moves thus limiting the chances of getting bruised. The exercise requires that you have enough strength on your upper body and doing push ups and pull ups will see to this. This is because you strengthen your shoulders and arms thus having a better grip on the pole. Instructors recommend that beginners attend the first few lessons bare footed so as to reduce the chances of injuries. Pole dancing shoes usually come with high heels and this can be very challenging for a beginner. The dancing is unsafe for pregnant women especially if they are beginners. Lotions and oils should be avoided at all times as they only make the pale slippery thus loosening your grip. Pole dancing clothes come in a wide variety. They may come in different top and bottom pieces. A bra accompanied by a short skirt would make perfect clothing for the exercise. The skirts may include standard mini skirts or ultra short skirts.

Trousers for pole dancing may include skin tight leather pants and shorts would also be great if matched with the right top. Body stockings are the most preferred attire for pole dancing due to their flexibility. Complementing these outfits with great pairs of shoes would do the trick in wowing the crowd. Pole dancing shoes are available in online stores and all you have to do is select one that pleases you the most. Boots would make great pole dancing shoes if worn with a pair of shorts or short skirts. Ensure that you buy the right size of pole dancing shoes to enhance comfort ability.

Ok, so I want to be Link from Hairspray for Halloween and I bought these cheap used dress shoes that I want to convert into dancing shoes for my costume.

Real dance shoes have leather on the soles, but I was wondering if there was an easier way to reduce the friction on the bottom of the shoe. I don't want to go out and buy expensive dance shoes for one night, and I would rather not go out to buy leather and hot glue it onto the soles.

Any ideas?

Take some sandpaper to them. I often do this to reduce frction as I am a ballroom dance teacher...Jennie:)
