When buying jazz sneakers, should you go with your usual shoe size?

One time I got jazz sneakers and they told me to go like one or two sizes down or something like that. I want to order shoes online,but I want to make sure I get the right size.

Well, my dance team was given a store name and we just walked in and gave them our name. They found the right shoe, checked the actual shoes I was wearing to see if they fit right. They said they did and looked at what size the shoe I'd worn into the store was. My jazz sneakers fit perfectly.
