Can anyone give me a crash course on Indoesian cinema, the current trend and local actors at least?

Ive been collecting (or trying to) foreign films. Visiting Jakarta as i write this. Can anyone tell me little details on such actors that I REGULARLY see in dvds- the ones that are being sold in malls like Plaza Indonesia, Plaza EX. I ve seen movies with Vino G. Bastian, Winky Wiryawan, Luna Maya, Julie Estelles, Marcel ChandraWinata, Ramon Tungka, and Dimas Seto. Are these actors big stars in Indonesia? Or indie actors? I would appreciate an overview of them as well as the best movies to watch out for from Indonesia? The "art house" films that go to film festivals abroad? I am not indonesian, so I would appreciate information on Indo Cinema. Thanks.
