How to reduce hair fall - Hair fall prevention!

The fundamental cause of hair fall is a unhealthy and/or stressfull lifestyle. If that isn't the cause it is likely to be a genetic cause, which often leads to baldness. Anyways, whatever causes the hair loss, prevention is what should be done before getting hair fall! It can assure impresive results if taken up earnestly.

Below are a few preventing ideas of hair fall which can give you a healthy and shining hair in return.

• The first criterion of preventing hair fall is eat healthy! Get a good diet, ask your doctor or specialist to help you setting up a diet that reduces hair loss. High intake of vitamins and minerals is vital. Also drinking a lot of water can reduce the rate of hair loss. Another good thing is to eat calcium oriented food. Avoid overusing salt and sugar in your diet.
• A hot water therapy on your hair will prevent hair fall! To do this get yourself a bowl of hot water and a towel. Get yourself in a comfortable position, dip the towel in the hot water (be careful!), squeeze of the remaining water and wrap it up over your head. Now keep it on for about 15 minutes, if the towel gets cold, dip it in the water again and wrap it up. One thing you can also do is add some natural oils to the water or on your hair, this will give the hair follicles extra vitamins.
• Hairstyles, of course you want to be fashion and follow trends, but make sure you do not keep the same hairstyle for too long, avoid hair styles that do not go along with your hair fall. A simple hair style is also sexy!
• Another great daily prevention is what people often forget, your shampoo. Do not use shampoos with high chemicals, opt instead natural herbal shampoos. Wash your hair with a good conditioner and dry it naturally.. so no hair or blow dryers!
• Avoid brushing wet hair. Wet hair is weaker and tends to fall off much easier than usual. The water makes your hair much more vulnerable to damages. Another thing, which isn't really related to hair fall, but avoid sharing your brush with other people, because possibly you might get something uninvited in your hair!
• Coloring your hair should be avoided too. The chemicals that are in the colors can cause significant hair damages. Prefer to do a hair coloring session only once in two months.
• Before you start taking medicines, please ask your doctor for side effects. Several medications cause the malfunctioning of the hair follicles with subsequently consequences. A few to name are antidepressants, birth control pills, blood thinners, ...
• Something worth mentioning is the hormonal balance. You can't really stabilize it but try to keep it in balance.
• Stop drinking alcohol and stop smoking!

Hair fall prevention should not be ignored. With little care and effort it can be very effective and save you from having hair loss.
