Where to stay in Prague!

Prague is the capital of the Czech Republic and Bohemia dreamy. The city, with more than one million inhabitants, is also known as the City of Hundred Towers or The Golden City.

Prague a safe city, especially if you compare it to any of the Spanish (not for nothing). The only thing you should have a little care if you notice that you are a tourist is by gangs of "gypsies" who act in groups and steal wallets. They are easily recognized and not many.
For the rest, is a beautiful city, people are lovely and you do not want you back. Although the weather was not for us to visit Prague was like being in a fairy tale, with streets that seem made for the simple enjoyment of tourists, shops decorated with great affection that we could imagine, and all marked by a medieval atmosphere you pushes back to another era.

Know the districts do not have much interest from the tourism point of view, but it will be useful to choose where to sleep. If you want to walk around town, nothing better than to find a hotel near the Old Town Square or Charles Bridge. Another interesting area is the Wenceslas Square, close to this are some of the most luxury hotels.

Why do people believe the most ridiculous things?

People make me want to stab myself in the eye when I see people writing that Romani people (Gypsy’s) are scammers, fortune teller, people who will put curses on you just because you pissed them off….. etc….. If you really want to know, look them up! It’s not hard. We’re spiritual people (Not religious, there is a difference)

My great grandmother is from an area called bohemia, which was an area beside Czechoslovakia. It’s culture and knowledge has been passed down to me so when I hear these things it’s ridiculous.

People are Ignorant about a lot of things, not just this, but a lot… If anything pisses you off to do with culture, say it. I’m curious to know.

That's just old superstitions leftover from hundred's of years ago. It's like people still believing in witches this many years after the Salem witch trials. Same kind of thing. Gypsies got a bad rap hundreds of years ago. Some did have to steal and scam to make ends meat and to survive in their nomadic lifestyles... the rest was just fears. People easily believed in things like curses, and they liked blaming every little thing on someone... "It hailed and killed my crop... must have been a curse..." If people still are spreading this kind of thing, they are just stupid. Yes there are scammers out there... some may even proclaim to be fortune tellers and take on the persona of long ago gypsies.. its an act. Con artists come in all shapes and sizes. No one group is any more or less guilty than any other.
