What did I do wrong when I made this bread>?

I made some bread last night, and then I looked at it this morning. The top was golden brown and the edges were perfect, but the inside was gooey and gross. What did I do wrong?

It sounds like your oven was a bit to hot and it cooked and browned the outsides before the inside was done. Turn down your oven a notch and try the recipe again. When it is a nice golden brown, take it out and tap the bottom, it should sound like a drum. If it sounds muffled and dense, pop it back in upside down to help the bottom cook more. If you are using a mold, just lower the temperature until it is set. I know you said that the next morning it was gooey so Im assuming you sliced it while cold. Sometimes if bread is sliced right out of the oven, it can be a bit moist in the center, let it cool for a bit.
