How to make a cheap homemade gift

Homemade gifts are always better than store-bought ones, especially if you put time and effort into creating a truly valuable item. Why spend a lot of money on gifts that will be soon forgotten? Instead use your creativity to make these gifts nice, and they will be remembered for a long time.

Personalized Recipe Book

If your gift receiver loves chocolate, cakes, Mexican food etc, start collecting suitable recipes from books, magazines or newspapers and write them out in a small inexpensive book. Write it in your best handwriting, or print it out. Get as creative as possible.

Plants

A household plant may seem boring. But it will give some responsibility to a child, and being with nature will help people cope with stress. Include a well-written note along with your gift. And for a special touch, paint the plant pot in nice bright colors.

Cookies

They are the standard gift when you want to give someone, something homemade. But you can also make them their favorite treat. Example - Raspberry jam, cheese cake, banana nut bread etc. To save you time, you can even make a giant cookie instead of the smaller ones and personalize it.
