Turn A Basic Blue Tutu Skirt Into An Amazing Ballet Costume

I work for a small dance studio that caters to people who are less financially fortunate. So when it comes time for our annual recital, we try to keep it as cheap as possible for the parents. One way we go about this is only asking parents to purchase tights and a leotard. We have a large supply of adorable blue tu tu's in our studio and paired with the right tights, top and some ballet shoes you have the perfect recital costumes.

This really seems to help our parents, and most importantly puts a smile on our tiny ballerinas. Many of our girls don't get the chance to dress up often and feel beautiful, so having a simple blue tu tu in our studio's wardrobe allows us to dress a little girl up as a ballerina in no time. There are a number of different accessories that can be added to the tu tu to create an amazing ballet costumes. It can be something as simple as adding a top and tights for your parents on a budget. You can also spruce it up a bit more, and we often do for our older teenagers. Adding the right amount of make up, jewelry, a sequined tops, some tights and the right shoes can turn plain jane teenagers into beautiful ballerinas in no time! We often add things like jewels to their hair to add that extra touch. This helps our girls feel more confident when they walk onto stage and see hundreds of people looking at them. Really, anyone can create this look for their child if the have a tu tu. My preference is blue tu tu's. They are sweet and adorable and so easy to dress up.

My daughter has a collections of tu tu's at home that she often pairs with a number of tights and leg warmers, as well as tank top and t-shirts. She then proceeds to twirl and dance throughout our home and pretend she is a ballerina on stage. I love the fact that she is creative enough to come up with these costumes on her own and enjoys showing me her latest attire. Tu tu, and yes adorable blue tu tu can be found on a number of website and can be fairly inexpensive. One website I've enjoyed shopping on is www.danceclothesuk.com. What type of bra to wear with an open-back dance recital costume?

I'm not suppposed to show the hook and strap in the back because you can see it. We can't wear clear because they are too shiny and reflect the light at the recital. We can't wear nude colored either because you can still see it. What should I do?

Go to a GAP Body store, or Vic. Sec. and get a sticky bra. They work amazingly, even if you are small or really large and they dont have a back.
