Line Dancing Songs

If you are interested in finding great music to practice your dancing skills or you want to DJ a wedding or party, here are my 7 tips to find popular line dancing songs.

Country Music Bars or Clubs
A good place to begin is to go to a country music club or or bar where you will see bootscooters line dancing to all the up-to-date music. There is generally a country music club and possibly a bar in most major cities in the western world and depending on your geographic location there may be a lot of them.

Magazines
You can find some respectable line dancing magazines that keep up with the latest and greatest information on everything from fashions to music as well as the latest linedancing steps.

Search Engines
You will find everything and anything you could possibly want to know about linedance songs as well as terrific information, new and old, about almost any line dancing subject - just begin searching. You can easily find out what other dancers are dancing to and what the existing trends are and what music is being used just by checking out a couple of blog posts or YouTube videos.

The Line Dance CD

Line Dance Classes

Country Radio
Country Radio as well as the top 40 Country music charts can be terrific sources to discover up to the minute country line dancing music.

Forums
There are Forums that you can join (often for no money) that bring together linedancers from all over the world to compare notes about new line dancing songs that are coming out as well as the latest dance steps. You can also share experiences with other members.

Organisations
There are even organisations that get together in local areas to connect like minded people and occasionally they may also include a live country band at special events. These clubs are a excellent way to make new friends and to encounter all kinds of new music you may not have heard of, especially if country music is not available on your local radio or supported in your local area.

I must say that Country music is my favorite, but today's line dancers dance to songs in just about any category. You'll find hip hop, obviously country and I bet there are also Reggae and classical line dancing songs as well. Something for everyone. Get involved and dance off the inches.

This is the first year that my high school is having a dance line. My tryout routiine has to be 3 to 5 minutes long. I need suggestions for song to use.
