I am a jazz/contemporary dancer primarily. I've been dancing my whole life..since I was three and am now eighteen. These are my two top choices for schools, and I am also looking at Marymount Manhattan. I am decent in ballet, although it is not my strongest and I often worry I'll get cut for my lack of great ballet technique.
I was just curious on how selective these programs are with their incoming dance students.

I have friends at Marymount Manhattan, Point Park and UA. You have to do well at the ballet portion of the audition to get in. Ballet is the first part of all three auditions and you may get cut if you aren't strong enough. You should know that the contemporary dance they do is concert contemporary which means strong modern technique. The modern portion of the audition would be either Graham or Horton based or some variation of those styles.
