Math Help. Really hard problems?
If anyone knows the answer to these random math questions please help.
1.If a+b+c+d= 2001 and b+d= 2002 what is the value of a-b+c-d?
2. I drove at a constant speed for 3 hours and traveled x km If I had driven each km 1 minute faster, I'd have driven 30 km further in the 3 hours. What is the value of x.
3. The sum of five positive integers equals their product. What are all possible values of this product?
4. Twenty dancers line up, one behind the other. At every dang of the cymbals, the dancers in positions 10 and 20 dance forward into positions 1 and 2, respectively, while the other 16 keep there same positions relative to each other. What is the least number of times that the cymbals must dang for the dancer originally in front to return there?
1. If a+b+c+d=2001, and b+d=2002, then a+c must equal -1. When you have a problem like a-b+c-d, you're basically adding negative b and negative d to a+c. -b-d=-2002 (just multiply b+d=2002 by negative 1). Negative 2002 plus negative 1 is negative 2003.
I'm not entirely sure how to do the other ones.
