Are these a good pair of Pointe Shoes?

I bought these pointe shoes, first pair for me to start out with (yes I do dance, yes I can move up,)
Here's a description given about them-what do you think about them and what can I expect from using them?

176. An American-style pointe shoe, the Contempora™ features a broad, feathered toe-box and a wide platform for excellent balance. A pre-arched, medium #2 shank makes this shoe perfect for dancers with strong feet or high arches. Students like the durable support from the medium box that promotes balance en pointe; while more advanced dancers enjoy the stability of the larger platform, longer, 1/4" vamp and the security of the forefoot. The shorter sole and slighly narrow, lower, 1/4" heel gives a custom fit. Long vamp, U-throat and slightly tapered.

ask u teacher she should have gone with u to get them and I would have gone with russian pointe because they are really good for pple with good arches(I have that kind) and are really durable, I have had mine for a year and they are not dead yet

what pointe shoes are better for beginner bloch serenade or capezio contempora?

im about to start pointe and i went to a dance store to get my new pointe shoes!! but i tried on serenade bloch and contemora capezio and the blochs were way more confy but really stiff. i have a good arch but the blochs are really hard instead the capezios werent that hard and i ended getting blochs because i have a wide foot and they felt much better .but now im kinda worried that i got a bad shoe . soo pleasse write wich one you think is better. all my riends are getting capezio because they thik that the blochs were ugly i just want to know what other people think

Well I have worn both Bloch and Capezio and neither really worked that well for me... However most people I know where Bloch's and the Serenade is a great shoe. The bottom line is that all pointe shoes are pretty and looks are really not what should be considered when buying a shoe. If the Blochs felt better to your feet then I think you aAbsolutelymade the right decision As for them being harder that is probably a good thing as they will strengthen your feet more. If after a few weeks they still feel really hard, talk to your teacher and see if they are opposed to any breaking-in techniques.
