is there any way to melt lead from belt buckle made from old coins without ruining coins?

i recently purchased a belt buckle from a flea market. it was made from old coins with appears to be lead.is there any way to melt the lead and seperate the coins

You can use a soldering tool and solder remover braid. Hold the tool on the metal until it turns liquid then hold the braid to the liquid metal. The braid will wick away the melted lead. It might not be pure lead, it might be a lead/tin alloy, but this method should work. You can also use a soldering torch and a vice to melt away the lead from each join. Both tools become very hot so you need to use proper safety equipment. If you are inexperienced with soldering then a soldering gun is better and slightly safer than a torch. Simple soldering tools are available at electronic parts suppliers (Radio Shack is where I bought one years ago) and they should also have solder remover, too. Plumbing supply places also have soldering tools and solder remover. That cold solder tool that they sell through TV ads won't get hot enough to remove old solder.

Warning: Soldering tools get extremely hot and can be very dangerous. They will burn your skin in less than a second and the burns are serious, go to the hospital if you burn yourself while soldering. If you are under 18 years old you should have a adult assist you in case anything happens. If you are inexperienced with soldering then try to find someone with experience to assist, such as an electronics technician or a plumber, both work with solder.
