capezio nicolini and pavlova?

Does anyone have either nicolinis or pavlovas and how do they like them, whats the sizing like, and how easy are they to break in

Both the Nicolini's and the Pavlowa's have a tapered, narrow box. The Nicolini's (I believe) is being discontinued, but the Pavlowa's are a similar style shoe. They work best if you have a skinny foot and when you point your toes they are fairly narrow. The vamp is med-long length and would work if you have a long first or second metatarsal.
The shank on the Nicolini's is medium-light and the shank on the Pavlowa's is medium. So you'll have to a do some work to break them in depending on the strength of your arch.

Just always remember you should have them fitted professionally if you are considering a change in pointe shoe brands or styles. Not every foot is the same and you can't just pick a pair and expect them to work with your foot. If you have a broad foot or are wide across the toes you should not wear either of these styles, but you would not know that unless you have been properly fitted. Pointe shoes should never be bought based on the "look" of them or just because they are on sale!! You can do some real damage to your feet if they are not the right shoe for you!
