Williamson will don a funky catsuit for his new role in the West End

The star, who played Barry Evans in the soap, is making his catsuit West End debut in the hit musical.

And he donned a catsuit to promote the opening at the Apollo Victoria Theatre on July 2.

Williamson plays sleazy DJ zentai bodysuit  Monty in the show.

'It's a great role to play because Monty is a loveable rogue - and I love wearing outfits like this one,' Williamson said.

'I have two musical numbers, Disco Inferno and Disco Duck. I'm fine with the singing but dancing is a skill that eludes me so I'll have to work on that one.'

The best aspect of the trend? It's a look that can be worn costume spiderman any time and anywhere, says Montreal-based womens' wear manufacturer Joseph Ribkoff International. While animal prints have been in and out of style for decades, they've become more "civilized," says Quebec-based Influence magazine.
