Does a black tap sign mean anything?

This is in reference to MTG. I see some cards out there which have a tap sign that have a white arrow within a black box. Which is the opposite of the normal tap sign. What, if any, is the difference?
I apologize for any misunderstanding. Whats the difference in a black tap symbol and a white tap symbol. Example Crypt Sliver has a black tap sign and im wondering if it means anything different. Or is it just the tap sign for black cards?
