Resturaunts in Memphis,Tn that I can belly dance in?

My boyfriend is turning 21 and I want to bellydance at his birthday for a surprise. I was wondering where I could perform at? It could be a regular resturaunt or a classy bar or anything. I am not from the area.

Well my mother bought these for me and I read the reviews but none of them really helped.So if anybody actually bought these if they could tell me whether they are good or not

I'm guessing that your interested in tribal fusion based on the selections you have listed. Having never seen anything more than the video clips off youtube of these particular videos I can't really say specifically if they are good or not. I'm more informed on the classical tribal styles of various ATS troupes like Gypsy Caravan and Fat Chance Belly Dance. The short clips I say of all the videos showed some interesting combinations but they didn't show how well the combinations were broken down. I can't say if it would be appropriate for absolute beginners, advanced beginners, intermediates, etc... I realize it's not focused on the Tirbal Fusion or Gothic styles but it's intention is to give you something you can immediately use on the dance floor. Once you have them down you could try to "tribalize" the movements a little to match more with the Tribal Fusion style. I have never actually seen this DVD either so I can't say whether it's really any good or not but it may suit your needs.
