I'm a street shoe size 5.5 or 6. What ballet slipper shoe size should i buy? I want to get canvas instead of leather...if that makes a difference.

Ballet slippers are usually tighter than street shoes, so I would first try on a 5 or 5.5. When you try on the shoes, make sure they aren't too big or too small. Some people think that they will "grow into" the shoes and decide to buy shoes that are a little too big for them to save money later, but chances are the person won't grow into the shoes or it will take a really long time for them to grow into the shoes!
